For those of you who've wandered here after noticing my deviantArt is gutted: I lost my deviantArt gallery "thanks" to it being hijacked by another party, so I've got the decision of whether to start a new one, or just keep this site updated regularly and post updates in my LJ! well, not sure what to do, exactly, but for now, I've added some updates to the art section here.

DANG. One whole year has gone by since last update...so, I kinda got caught up in other things, it's true.

Stuff added:
- 37 new images in the art section
- Added some new sites in the links section
- Tweaked the profile page


I noticed a lot of people hotlinking an image I recently sold, so I've removed the full-size view of said image. I am pretty flattered though. Glad so many people enjoy my stuff!

I most likely will remain hiatus-y especially now, as my computer has kind of started to bite the dust. Saving up for a new computer, engage. I've been doing more drawing on paper, but I have no scanner, so that'll have to wait to appear online. :p

 

My birthday was yesterday! Can't believe I'm 23. Still trying to get used to that fact now...weird.

it's a new dawn, it's a new day, it's a new year!

i hope this is a good year for you guys out there in tv land.

as for me, i've added 6 images to the gallery. the first one up is my christmas card design for 2005! i hope those of you who recieved this card enjoyed the design. as for the rest of the stuff up there, I haven't got much to say about it, haha. it's a mish-mash of various stuff... i've been doing a lot of real-media work in my sketchbooks, and i've yet to get a scanner up and working properly, so i'll have more to update with as soon as i get that squared away.

thanks to those of you who've posted in my guestbook so far, and to those of you who will post in it this year. I appreciate all of your feedback. :]

business-wise, i'm getting a lot of help with trying to think up things to sell of mine, including calenders, tshirts, stickers, and whatever else i think of. i'm wanting to try my hand at stenciling, maybe take some screen-printing classes, etc. we'll see what happens this year.

i might put up some kind of "shop," might just sell stuff by word-of-mouth, might use ebay[though i don't really want to use ebay for that type of sale]... we'll see. if anyone's interested in buying things from me, let me know. i'd like to see if anyone actually wants anything, heh.

well, enough of my rambling. thanks for all of the site visits -- I'm glad people are interested in what i do.

as for me, I've added 3 images to the art section, and some random links to the...link section(wow). once I'm sure everyone's received their holiday cards from me, I'll post up the design I made for it. :]

i've been drawing on paper a lot more lately, and also writing more often in one of my many cool blank books i picked up at a sale a while back. i'll probably be scanning most of my updates from now on, though i need to work on my skills with photoshop and painter as well. hell, i need to work on my skills, period.

I like the reception I've gotten when it comes to my cards, so far, but i still feel like there's so much more i could do with myself, art-wise. meh. we'll see what kind of things i come up with in the new year.

I simplified the layout - even more than it was already - and I think that's how it'll stay... for now, anyway. html is good times. I need to set-up the scanner and put up some stuff I've been working on in my sketchbook. by working on, I mean experimenting with colored pencils & marker.
